The Process

Our Process

From first conversation to final handover, our process is designed to be simple, transparent, and stress-free. Scroll through to see how we bring your new space to life — step by step.

Step One

Understanding your needs, onsite

We start by understanding your schools specific needs - whether its addtional classrooms, SEN space, breakout facilities or staff facilities - and how your site operates day-to-day.

Step Two

Design & planning made simple

Our team develops a bespoke layout & design to suit your pupils, staff and site. This includes the use of video walkthrough designs so you can get a feel for the building prior to sign off. We then handle all of the planning applications, building regulations and any other DfE guidance.

Step Three

Offsite Construction

While we prepare the groundwork on site, your building is manufactured offsite using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), which intern reduces disruption and build time.

Step Four

Fast, efficient assembly

Your modular building is delivered and assembled on-site in as little as 4–6 weeks (depending on the size) — with minimal disruption to your routine.

Step Five

Handover & Aftercare

We walk you through your new space, ensure everything’s perfect, and remain available for support long after handover. Every build also comes with clear warranties and peace of mind.

Sustainable Modular Buildings for Schools, Nurseries & Community Spaces

From nurseries and classrooms to multi-use community buildings, we design and build sustainable modular buildings across the UK, tailored to each site, built to last, and delivered with minimal disruption.

Testimonials

Client Stories

"Before I commissioned Eco-Classrooms and Nurseries, I had met with several other companies seemingly offering something similar. The problem was that they all wanted to put a wooden ‘box’ on my site, the same box that they were using at locations across the country. Whilst these looked pleasant enough, they didn’t really consider what I wanted for my Montessori preschool or how to take advantage of the intricacies of the site.

Eco-Classrooms and Nurseries were the first company that listened, and that proved to be the deciding factor. Nick, and his architect Ian, recommend a concept that was bespoke to me, my preschool and the requirements of the site. This included working with several stakeholders such as The Diocese, Local Authority, Parochial Church Council, Parish Council and organisations such as Heritage England. Ian took charge of the planning process which was a huge weight off my mind.

The build itself was incredible to watch and be a part of. It was completed within a three-month period, and I was kept involved and updated at every stage. The materials used were of an excellent quality and the team of workmen were skilled in their respective trades.

Being on a school site it was imperative that disruption was kept to a minimum and Nick ensured this was the case, liaising with the school Headmistress as and when necessary. When we moved in, I was still able to speak to Nick regularly, raising any teething issues that would be added to the snagging list.

Almost eighteen months on from moving in, and with snagging complete, I know that I can always call upon Nick for advice about the building should I ever need it going forward. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eco-Classrooms and Nurseries to anyone who really does want their dreams to come true."

Anna Elcox BA (Hons), PGCE, MA
Principal of Daisies Montessori

"Eco Classrooms and Nurseries designed and built a new preschool classroom for us at our nursery in Gloucestershire. The service they provided throughout the project was superb.

Ian navigated our way through the rigorous planning application and helped us overcome any challenges that came our way. Nick was fantastic throughout and very easy to communicate with. With Nick in charge of the build it went very smoothly without any hiccups even though we were working to a tight deadline.

There were no nasty surprises recommend costs and we stayed to the budget agreed at the outset. I would definitely recommend Eco Classrooms and Nurseries."

Simon Reynolds
Founder of Curious Caterpillars Nursery

"We went through a tendering process ourselves and found Nick to be genuine, honest and transparent from the start. We felt their build system was the best and the materials they use were the best. Communication was excellent from the start and we were constantly reassured.

The whole team listened to our needs and wants and made sure that they delivered the brief according to our needs and budget. Ian, the architect, was excellent in delivering the designs and we felt that we got more than we ever dreamed off.

We were supported in every way along the process and felt that we were in safe hands. We would definitely recommend ECO Classrooms and Nurseries."
